Trying to edit a post with a hyperlink deletes the entire contents of the post
Problem reported by Rami Abughazaleh - 9/3/2019 at 4:22 PM
Resolved
If I create a post, edit the post, paste a hyperlink and try to save, the contents of the post is deleted.

If I try to reply to a post with a hyperlink, I get the error message "Your account does not have permission to use hyperlinks in posts.".

I didn't expect the contents of the initial post to get deleted if I try to paste a hyperlink; it should just not save the new content.

I'm using Firefox 68.0.2 on Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Rami,

Sorry about the issue with the Community section you are experiencing. We use Chrome as the company-wide browser and don't seem to be able to reproduce this. Our support site is based on SmarterTrack product and until and if they resolve the issue, we would then upgrade to the latest version.

In the meantime, you are welcome to open a ticket be emailing us at support at submain dot com about the issue you are posting.

Thanks!

It seems I can paste hyperlinks now.

Does SmartTrack know about this issue?

When my user account is considered a "new" user, I am prevented from adding hyperlinks in a post.
What defines a "new" user?
I would expect that the issue can be reproduced only with a "new" user account.
