Is TypeScript support coming?

Would love to see and use GhostDoc on typescript.
Any news on that?

We made progress with TypeScript but not enough to include in the recent v2018 release.
 
At this point, TypeScript might be a v2019 feature.

Hi Rick,

We are about to release v2021 with TypeScript support included. Targeting end of this week but may slip to early next week - we just found an issue with the TS implementation that must be fixed before the new version is out.

Rick,

I would like you to know that TypeScript support works with the essential GhostDoc features at this point but not with some of the advanced features just yet -

TypeScript is supported in v2021 for

  • Document This
  • Re-document This
  • Document Type
  • Document File
  • Document Project

TypeScript not currently supported for

  • Document File Header
  • Document Checked Out Files
  • Exclude This from Documentation
  • Visual Comment Editor
  • Generate Help Documentation
  • Preview Comment
  • Documentation Maintenance

I recently updated to 2021 and see that there are folders for typescript rules, but no rules.  Also there is no way to add new rules.

Hi Rick,

Please use the Tools -> GhostDoc {Edition} -> Run Configuration Wizard... menu to merge the new templates into your existing template library.

The wizard runs every time you install an update and you may have accidentally closed it before merging these.
